Base is looking for a highly motivated, intellectually curious, mission-driven software engineer to join our markets team. During your internship you’ll be tasked with important problems for the business and expected to deliver just like any other full-time member of the team.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience using python for analysis

- Algorithms and optimization: Model market behavior and implement optimization algorithms to improve system performance
- Risk and trading: Analyze commodity risk and potential products to expand the Base offering the market
