The workplace function at Base ensures that our entire team has the resources they need, that our work environment is a place people want to be, and that the experience at any Base location for both internal and external stakeholders is an excellent one. As an operations associate you will be an integral part of the workplace team, the first face the team will see everyday, and the first contact by welcoming all guests visiting the office.

Responsibilities:

• Ordering and organizing supplies for the entire office including clerical supplies, kitchen snacks and drinks, and computers and monitors.
• Maintain inventory and tracking all supplies for the office and manage returns of computer equipment (RMA).
• Manning the front desk, greeting visitors and candidates and routing them to the appropriate Base employee.
• Distributing and organizing all incoming mail and packages. Owner for scheduling and managing all outgoing packages.
• Arriving to work at 8am weekdays to “open the office” and ensure everything is stocked, organized, and ready for the day.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in an office environment.
• Experience using Google Workspace apps and generally very tech savvy.
• Extreme ownership mentality and excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills and a high-level of professionalism.
• High EQ and a team player - someone who stays cool under pressure.
• A strong desire to learn new things, grow skills and abilities, and help others.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience as an office manager or receptionist at a scale-up.
• You love lists, trackers, and leaving nothing undone at the end of the day.
• You are high energy and positive even in stressful situations and when things don’t go your way.
• You love hard work and impacting outcomes, you hate drama and office politics.
