Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Contractor to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain IT systems for BasiGo Limited.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with hardware/software support, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and software OS and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues network connectivity, system errors, login problems, etc.) in-person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business applications.
  • Assist with user account management (Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace).
  • Support network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls, CCTV, biometric access controls) and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Perform system updates and patches to ensure security and performance.
  • Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and provide user training when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT teams or vendors for escalated technical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years in IT support, helpdesk, or similar roles.

Technical Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Windows/macOS/Linux troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud services
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools ( AnyDesk, RDP).
  • Knowledge with CCTV and biometric access control
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred certifications : CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), ITIL, etc.
  • Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Availability : 2 hours daily for 5 days
