Overview
DaisyChain Energy is adding a high-impact Business Development Manager who excels at hunting new business, closing inbound deals, networking, and driving revenue growth. You will be primarily responsible for expanding our multifamily client base, building deep relationships with larger property owners, and executing our sales playbook in the field.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Execution: Execute the go-to-market strategy for the multifamily sector, actively targeting a wide range of New York-based multifamily property owners. This includes responding to inbound requests from individual property owners to prospecting large property owners, REITs, and large-scale property management companies.
Revenue Generation: Own the full sales cycle for key accounts, from initial cold outreach and prospecting through to running technical demos, collecting energy usage data, closing deals, and managing client relations. Ensure individual sales and revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Pipeline & Relationship Management: Maintain a robust, active pipeline of commercial opportunities. Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the real estate sector through regular outreach, site visits, attending conferences and industry networking.
Market Intelligence: Act as a critical bridge between the market and the product team, gathering firsthand customer feedback from the field regarding new features, market needs, and competitive intelligence.
Required Qualifications
Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Expertise: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record specifically targeting the New York commercial real estate or property management industry.
Multifamily Network: A strong, established network and a proven track record of successfully selling products or services directly to multifamily customers.
Technical Sales Aptitude: Comfortable learning and pitching our energy software platform to executive-level stakeholders (VPs of Asset Management, Operations, Sustainability).
Self Starter: Highly motivated self-starter comfortable managing your own daily sales activity, tracking KPIs, and driving deals across the finish line with minimal supervision.
