Exowatt is revolutionizing the energy landscape for the AI era with our groundbreaking P3 system that captures solar energy, stores it as heat, and generates electricity on demand. Founded in 2023 and backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Sam Altman, and Felicis, we're committed to providing clean, modular, and scalable power that meets the rapidly growing demands of AI infrastructure. Our mission is to make sustainable renewable energy always available and almost free, enabling technological advancement while protecting our planet.
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the P3 Program—from prototype scaling through commercial deployment. In this strategic, cross-functional role, you will orchestrate engineering, operations, suppliers, and external partners to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of modular P3 systems.
This position is based in Miami, FL. If selected, relocation to Miami is required. Exowatt provides relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

- Align engineering, operations, supply chain, and product teams to ensure cohesive execution of P3 program objectives.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks or roadblocks, and proactively drive mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the central point of contact for executive leadership, engineering leads, operations, external partners, and customers on program status.
- Prepare and present clear, data-driven status updates, program dashboards, and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making by collecting inputs, defining action plans, and managing escalation when timelines or budgets are challenged.
- Cost, Schedule & Scope Management
- Define and manage program scope, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and resource capacity.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost, schedule adherence, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing program management best practices tailored for a fast-paced startup environment.
- Risk & Quality Control
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation plans, leveraging insights from systems engineering inputs.
- Collaborate with quality, reliability, and testing teams to maintain rigorous delivery standards throughout prototype and field deployments.
- Coordinate pilot deployments, feedback loops, and post-launch reviews to inform iteration and optimization.
- Program Documentation & Governance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program artifacts: timelines, resource plans, risk registers, decision logs, and post-launch retrospectives.
- Institutionalize program governance: regular checkpoints, program dashboards, budget reviews, and scope controls.
- Champion the adoption of program management frameworks and tools (e.g., Gantt, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project) across the P3 Program.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or similarly applicable field
- Experience: 3+ years of program or project management experience in complex hardware or industrial product environments—preferably in energy, renewable systems, or thermal energy. Preference will be given to candidates who have delivered new complex hardware products into competitive markets.
- Program Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multidisciplinary programs on time and within budget. Proficiency in managing scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
- Technical Fluency: Strong working knowledge of systems engineering workflows and terminology (e.g., subsystem integration, reliability testing, validation protocols). Ability to translate technical complexity into clear program planning.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with engineers, executives, and external partners. Ability to lead program decision-making and drive accountability.
- Tools & Methodologies: Skilled with program management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, project trackers, collaboration platforms). Familiarity with agile or hybrid program delivery methods in dynamic environments.
