The Opportunity

Moment Energy is a rocket ship about to take off, seeking an experienced Account Executive expert to join our team and support the sales funnel and growth! You will be a key part in commercializing the cleanest form of lithium energy storage, and leveling Moment Energy up as we grow into our market. This is not going to be an easy journey, but nobody said starting a Billion Dollar company would be. This is the chance to put your skills to the test and build the sales processes necessary to commercialize cutting edge technology in the energy storage industry. With funding from Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and the U.S. Department of Energy we are poised for rapid growth and want someone ready for the challenge to grow with us. The Role

  • Salary: $85,000- $115,000 CAD per year + Commission
  • Location: In-person, Moment Energy Coquitlam Office

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and generate qualified leads through targeted prospecting efforts.
  • Build a robust pipeline of potential clients through strategic outreach and engagement.
  • Conduct clear and compelling communication with prospects to articulate the value proposition of products or services.
  • Nurture leads through various communication channels, including calls, emails, and social media.
  • Recognize and qualify opportunities for potential sales based on customer needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to transition qualified leads into the sales funnel.
  • Achieve and surpass assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Lay the foundation for long-term relationships by fostering trust and credibility.
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure successful closing of contract with favorable terms
  • Manage relationships with client after close to ensure project satisfaction and potential for recurring business.
  • Follow established sales processes and compliance standards, ensuring ethical and legal guidelines in all business development activities.

The Candidate

We’re looking for individuals with the following traits, skills, and experiences:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the enthusiasm for clean technology.
  • A proven track record of supporting and closing large high value sales.
  • Experience in B2B energy sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior CRM (HubSpot), outreach software, and sales intelligence tool implementation.
  • Experience in the cleantech or renewable energy industry is required.
