TerraWise builds fully autonomous inspection robots + Photon, an agentic AI platform for utility-scale solar O&M. You’ll own our customer-facing software platform, lead a FE/BE team, and design, ship, and scale ML infra that turns multimodal field data into real-time insights.

What you’ll do

• Own product delivery for TerraWise’s data platform + AI Agent (frontend, backend, data APIs, auth, billing, observability).
• Lead & mentor our FE/BE team; set coding standards, reviews, and sprints.
• Stand up ML infra (model registry, feature store, inference services, batch jobs, metrics).
• Drive platform reliability: logging, tracing, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with robotics, autonomy, and CV to close the loop from field robots -> analytics -> actionable insights.

Requirements

• 3–5+ yrs as a strong IC
• Backend: FastAPI/Django/Node, REST/GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, object storage, queues.
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, AWS.
• Hands-on experience building and productionizing RAG pipelines including vector databases, embedding workflows, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Fluency in Python and one modern TypeScript web stack (React + Next.js).
• Fast, iterative product development: ability to hack, ship, and refine quickly with strong product intuition.

Bonus

• 1–3 yrs tech lead/manager.
• Robotics: ROS, C++
• ML/MLOps: PyTorch, model packaging, batch/stream processing, inference, experiment tracking.
• Map/GIS, WebGL, CV pipelines

$150k–$250k+ (base) + meaningful equity.
