About Unlimited:
Unlimited is an AI-native engineering and construction company reimagining how large-scale physical infrastructure gets built – from factories to power plants to entire industrial systems. We’re already delivering real projects with customers across multiple industries, using our AI-first engineering platform to design an order of magnitude faster than industry norms.
Backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors, we’re building a small, engineering-led team to scale what’s working and to take on one of the most important challenges of the coming decades.
About the Role:
We’re looking for multidisciplinary engineers who thrive at the intersections of hardware and software. At Unlimited, breadth is a superpower. When paired with our AI-native engineering tools, your ability to understand and connect multiple domains compounds. You’ll move faster than any single-discipline specialist could, extending your knowledge across systems and teaching the AI how to design alongside you.
You’ll help us build model-first representations of physical systems while working directly with other engineers to design and deploy real infrastructure projects. You’ll work within our AI-native engineering framework, using intelligent tools that learn from you as you work. Your engineering judgment and field experience will be encoded into the system itself, shaping how it designs and builds over time. The right person will see this as more than a faster way to engineer - it’s a chance to embed their knowledge into a system that scales their impact across every future project Unlimited builds.
What You’ll Do:
Work across mechanical, electrical, and controls domains to design and integrate complete systems.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to encode engineering logic into reusable models and design tools.
Shape the development of Unlimited’s AI-native engineering tools, defining how they represent and reason about physical systems.
Contribute to our physics-based components and simulation frameworks.
Identify and solve cross-disciplinary engineering challenges that don’t fall neatly into one box.
You Have:
A background in mechanical, electrical, controls, or systems engineering, with practical experience across at least two of those domains.
Familiarity with modeling and simulation in python or similar environments.
Curiosity about how different systems (physical, electrical, thermal, or computational) interact and can be represented digitally.
A first-principles mindset and ability to reason across disciplines without relying on narrow specialization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work directly with domain experts across engineering disciplines.
Comfort working under tight deadlines and ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
