About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to build and scale our end-to-end supply chain. This role is both strategic and operational — you’ll negotiate supplier agreements in the morning, cut POs in the afternoon, and build scalable planning processes along the way.
You will own supplier relationships, material planning, purchasing execution, and inventory strategies to ensure we can scale production without scaling chaos. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, builds structure where none exists, moves quickly without sacrificing quality and is a great team player.
What you'll do
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development
- Partner with Engineering and Quality to identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers that can scale with our needs
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs, and contracts
- Develop dual-source strategies to reduce risk
- Build strong, long-term supplier partnerships
Purchasing & Execution
- Issue and manage purchase orders through delivery
- Coordinate expedites and manage timelines in partnership with suppliers
- Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and invoicing issues
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Build practical planning processes that use forecasts to guide purchasing decisions, particularly for long-lead materials
- Contribute to MRP implementation, reorder point strategy, and safety stock planning
- Partner with Sales and Operations to improve forecasting processes
- Establish clear inventory visibility and reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering on new product introductions (NPI)
- Work with Quality to support NQA-1 standards and audits
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure material readiness
- Align with Finance on invoice resolution and procure-to-pay processes
Building for Scale
- Implement supply chain processes that support sustainable growth
- Establish supplier KPIs and performance scorecards

Qualifications
Experience
- 5–10 years in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain within a product-based company
- Experience in a high-growth environment is helpful
- Background in manufacturing, hardware, or complex assemblies preferred
- Familiarity with the systems and processes required to build a strategic supply chain function
