David Energy is creating a new kind of power company. Traditional Retail Electricity Providers (REPs) are outdated, opaque, and painful for customers to engage with. We use software to monitor our customers' real-time energy usage, and we aggregate and analyze that data to maximize the value they get from their energy assets – batteries, EVs, HVAC systems and other distributed energy resources (DERs) via participation in energy markets. Our mission is to run the grid on clean energy 24/7.

Duties

Perform Energy Audits for energy optimization and for availing incentives. Develop energy management sequence of operations. Testing and commissioning of the real-time energy management system. Create new custom control programs and integration with different systems Integration into building management and microgrid control systems. Create backend interfaces from device to databases. Develop, test and optimize new analytics. Conduct retro-commissioning and ongoing energy management for real time energy systems. Monitor HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency. Configure remote monitoring of devices and utility data feeds to internal DB via API Access. Perform due diligence on collected data and provide insights and recommendations on scheduling and set-point improvements to improve efficiency and decrease energy consumption. Configure demand response protocols to enable load curtailment during local utility DR and ICAP events. Monitor progress and update assigned clients on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Innovation Management, Energy Engineering, or closely related fields

Salary

• $130,000 per year
